Strainstall's team includes experienced mechanical engineers, qualified to at least first degree level. We use an array of different sensors and measurement instrumentation to investigate responses and conditions of a component system or structure, which can involve both field and laboratory measurement.
In many cases our role is limited to the provision of factual data which feeds into the subsequent stress analysis work being undertaken by the client. We pride ourselves on our ability to understand our clients' requirements and tailor our reporting and data presentation to their specific needs. Where further interpretation of data is required, Strainstall is able to carry out this work, with reference to the relevant EN standards. Typically this includes the derivation of structural stresses and fatigue life estimates from 
collected strain data and the evaluation of the effects of collected vibration data.
