Strainstall supply and install foundation monitoring systems that provide invaluable data for design verification and warnings if conditions change, such that failure could occur. Strain gauges, In-place inclinometers, water level piezometers, earth pressure cells, tiltmeters, levels and annular load cells are used in locations of potential failure to detect these changes. Strainstall's systems can process automatically or manually acquired data, and with the use of a display PC can provide a simple user interface which is updated in real time, to indicate if conditions are normal, if movement has actually been detected, or if a risk of failure exists. The operational health of the system is also displayed, and should the main telecoms communication fail a backup GSM modem is available to allow manual data collection from the site system.
