Strainstall has carried out monitoring works on many buildings and structures - during their construction, while renovations/conversions are taking place, on historical buildings and even during demolition. However, the majority of the projects we get involved in are in response to observed structural faults/problems, where the cause and/or impact needs to be verified . We undertake static and dynamic load testing, fatigue life and crack movement monitoring, short and long term monitoring of parameters such as deflection, displacement, movement and strain, and in-situ stress determination from dead load conditions in concrete and metals.
