The construction industry often needs instrumentation and monitoring to assist in the control of site activities and to ensure that building performance meets with the design requirements. Our particular skill is the selection of the most appropriate instrumentation for specific applications to provide bespoke building monitoring solutions. We have installed building monitoring systems on many historical and well-known buildings such the Bank of England printing works, Temple Bar (during its re-siting in London), Southampton University, and further afield, the Jebel Ali Palm Island Water Homes and the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.
We offer a comprehensive range of short-term building monitoring systems and services to assess the influence of people and machinery on a building that cause vibration,
typically providing information on serviceability limit states. We also provide long-term structural heath monitoring systems that measure a range of parameters and record the data to check that the building behaves as intended and to confirm or extend design life.
